QUOTE (NBay1249 @ July 04, 2012 - 12:10 pm)
Hi all,

I am new to Lake nipissing but am glad to hear the pic are biting.

I have been trying hard since the weekend, but zip, so obviously it must be me.

Any tips on where and when .... best technique and bait?

I have tried around Calender Bay and once out in front of Waltonian (only sheeps head there) ..... worm and jig?

Thanks and happy fishing!

If you head out to deeper water 34-40 fow in the mid lake with a jig and worm are top notch right now.

If it's hot out likely the wind has died off and fishing slows a bit. I good stiff wind from the west helps out.
