For me the salmon charter season has come to a close for 2019...This is early, but since we have plans for a lot of holidays it only makes sense to get the boat out of the water...

It has been a great year overall with a few hiccup outings where it was tough to get decent fish, but I tried to make up for that. Met a lot of new great people from around the world and also quite a few from this site and thoroughly enjoyed them all

I hope to see many of you all next year as I am not done yet

Now . just because the big rig is getting put away doesn't men we are done as there is still lots of Erie fishing left to go in the smaller rig and then of course there is the Niagara river for browns and chromers

Thank you all and be safe and get out there and fish, no matter what species

It was nice to finally fish with you. Now we just need to do it on Lake Erie to catch some eyes.

Thanks for the great trip. My wife and my friend are still talking about it. And now my friend knows what is going backwards not forward. Lol.

Thanks FatRap,,,,,maybe it was experience or just good timing as the lake flipped today

Salmon are there and ready to go.need rain and some more cold.. I suspect the next full moon will see some shoot up, but down this way it can go on for some time yet

For those venturing out, start shallow at dawn until sun crests...when you don't mark them anymore then you got to go deeper real fast

gawdy colors are taking fish till 8 or so, then you got to switch it up

one day they want plugs, lymans , next day it's flies and flashers...spoons going well....leadcore is hot at times. Don't get stuck on one presentation or location for too long and think outside the box once in a while

Abe flasher and squid produce well as they don't see this that often

good luck all

AS for Erie. well it's been on fire for more than 2 months now
