Looking forward to a trip with my son on the 13-15 of Jan to Fish Bay resort. Has anyone been with them in the past, and does anyone know if they take us past the islands or are we fishing in the bay? Any info would be great and Happy New Year and tight lines one and all.

Andrewj we'll see you there - we're booked the 25-27.
Tim we were up there this past weekend for a single day on our own, but launched from the marina. There was a nice ice road all the way from the marina out, and we actually took our Ford Ranger out as the ice was too bare for my liquid cooled sled. Road went all the way out the bay past Fraser Island (the first big one) and past the next line of larger islands right to the big bay. Not sure exactly where their huts are, but I believe they're scattered along the smaller islands at the base of the large bay.
The wife and I did really well, catching well over 30 walleye for the day. Hot bite around 8-11:30 and 3:30 until we left at 4:45. 22", 19", 18 3/4", 2 17" and a boatload of 15-<17". We had to pull up our deadsticks around 4:00 as we couldn't keep up. It was our first time on the lake and we booked with Fish Bay for an overnight trip right after as the fishing was good and Kevin and Samantha were a treat. We'll be out once more on our own the weekend of the 18th before our overnight weekend with them.

Went with them last year for the first time. They bought the huts off of an operator we had been with for years. The fishing was not good. There were about 15 huts all in a row and nobody was catching anything. Could have been the timing or the location. We went the 2nd weekend in January and we have always caught fish every other year. Last year we only caught 3 small eyes and there was a group of 10 of us. Just sharing my only experience with them.
