There’s a decent amount of snow on the lake. It snowed yesterday after raining. Nothing melted.

Went out today and the ice was snow with wet slush. Water in spots but manageable. I didn't have much time so I just walked out and set up at random in 10 FOW. Started catching sunfish right away and also landed an incidental walleye about 27", which is in the 8-9 lb range. Awesome fish, got her revived quickly and back down. This is the largest walleye I've seen in Chemong. Tiny jig, with a wax worm on 2 lb test, wow.
