Just drill some holes and give er.. Jig away and hope you get lucky and drop it right in front of one..
Minnows and jigs is what I would be offering them..
Good luck and let us know how you do..
Cheers Dave..

Walleye are closed.

Read this before you go fishing

Ya walleye are closed until mid May. Most of the central Kawartha lakes are pan fish only. You can try to go for some pike on Cameron.
Tight lines.

No populations are still low. They haven’t made any exceptions in the regs yet. Hopefully in a few years. I believe there are some allowances a bit further north but nothing on the tri lakes.

I believe you can fish for walleye from Jan-March on Balsam, Mitchell and Crow.

Would be nice if the mods could make a sticky or something about the Balsam and Mitchell walleye ... no ice fishing and they have a different slot size in summer as compared to other kawartha lakes

There is a solid line between Crowe and balsam/Mitchell . Sometimes it's hard to understand the regs I guess but if your still in doubt email the mnr and you will get your answer
