Just curious going up next weekend and I want to bring my atv. Can I still get around after last couple snow falls. Any information is greatly appreciated. Thanks folks.

If it was me alone I’d say no - especially after this weekend which is producing a lot of slush and sloppy areas. There’s not a lot of snow on the south west end of the lake. Maybe a foot or so on average , in some places less. Even if you didn’t get stuck it would be a very wet ride. Additionally it’s not forecast to very cold this week which would harden the surface. If you like to gamble , stay on packed sled trails , have buddies to get you out of trouble and aren’t going far off the mainland it may be worth a shot. You could always haul it up and decide after you get here. Not promising at this point I’m afraid....

Your ATV shouldn't have any issues might not be good for a sled by then

Looks like it going to be crunchy out next week with the cold weather

Was out for most of the day today and put 78 km on the sled on the ice hitting different spots. Snow depth varied from 3 inches to 8 or 9 inches and was very sticky and wet. Slush varied from 1 inch to 4 inches and in most places was under the snow but is right to the surface here and there.

If you stay on established trails you should be ok but I wouldn't venture too far. There are a couple of nasty pressure cracks with water this year too.
