Hello again everyone!
Finally managed to get onto a deep lake not too far north of Orillia. The ice was thick enough to get out and fish some of our popular spots,5-7 inches of clear blue ice.Its really amazing what a few days of cold nights will do.Just a few days ago my cats would have went for a swim.
Anyhow I had a younger buddy of mine ahead of me so I didn't worry too much.I did remind him however if he were to go through to toss my auger aside as I would hate to lose that lifesaver, lmao.
We fished the Lake for two and a half days and were able to land 30 Lakers a ling and a pair of supersized Herring of which I could hardly tell whether they were Lake Cisco or Whitefish!?
My young colleague ensured me they were Cisco and he was very correct as it would later be verified by a C/O checking us for the regular stuff.Witnessed many groups of deer crossing the lake, what a Beautiful site.Another beautiful site, not another soul to be seen around us! Here are a few pics,Oh yeah,Have a Crappie Day!
