Probably 20 yrs ago,,, a few friends of mine had a trailer in a park up there. Cant remember what it was called,, pretty runned down place nonetheless.
I was just thinking a few days ago,, wondering what ice fishing would be like up there.
Let us know if you make the drive. A report would be great !

It gets a huge amount of pressure being so close to the city , it's not wierd to find 60+ huts in Bewdley when ice is good, fishing is ok alot of smaller panfish the odd good perch

Went out off of Bewdley today for an hour. Just one other pop up tent and no shanty’s out there. Fishing was slow but conditions weren’t the best today. There’s 8-10 inches of ice there but it was making a LOT of noise today. Very nerve wracking.

Went there today - the shoreline must have completely melted during the rain on the weekend, as it was only an inch or two near shore. Once you get past that, there are 6-10 inches, but I didn't wander around too much. This week of cold weather should tighten things up.
