Got soaked this weekend. Friday and Saturday in the back lakes. Rainbows (stocked), Lakers (natural) on Friday, Specks (stocked) Saturday. A good friend loaned me his XL pop up.... made the Saturday fishing possible in the Rain and sleet. Don't worry, there were a group of us out there, those aren't all mine, lol. We had the lakes to ourselves. Best bites for all species between 10am-2pm... even during the storm. No minnows allowed, worms were key. Pink lures for rainbows and lakers and small gold and black/brown spoons for specks.

A great time had by all, great company, amazing food, lots of laughs. Now it's back to work for a while. Hopefully find some big lakers by February.

Cheers

Wowza, well done.

The colours on that bow you're holding are amazing.

"Witch Lakes". Hahaha.
That's a small, hidden, chain of lakes known for massive quantities of very hungry trout.

Bows are over 30fow 5ft under the ice with worms and pink things. Work the top half of the water column. When I dropped to bottom I was getin lake trout.
