Got soaked this weekend. Friday and Saturday in the back lakes. Rainbows (stocked), Lakers (natural) on Friday, Specks (stocked) Saturday. A good friend loaned me his XL pop up.... made the Saturday fishing possible in the Rain and sleet. Don't worry, there were a group of us out there, those aren't all mine, lol. We had the lakes to ourselves. Best bites for all species between 10am-2pm... even during the storm. No minnows allowed, worms were key. Pink lures for rainbows and lakers and small gold and black/brown spoons for specks.
A great time had by all, great company, amazing food, lots of laughs. Now it's back to work for a while. Hopefully find some big lakers by February.
