Great report JJ, that one trout is a beast....nice job getting it topside. You put a lot of effort in planning this trip so good to see you were successful and I have to agree that the on ice bungalows are a great experience that everyone should try at least once.

Hey JustJiggin we were the guys that rode in with you on Friday. Beauty weekend out there and I could not agree more Great Spirit lodge was awesome (and we have stayed with quite a few not so awesome in the past).

We only managed to ice 2 lakers (one for supper and one returned) and lost a few more on the way up. We lost a monster on Sunday afternoon behind our bungalow in 80 FOW. Made the rookie mistake of trying to ice it too quick and he managed to knock the hook out at the bottom of the hole.

We did mange about a dozen ling at night though. The white fish however eluded us completely.

Great to meet you guys. Sounds like you had a blast!
