I was up last weekend, sorry for the delay in making a report. I’ve had a flu bug a couple of weeks now I just can’t shake.
Anyhow, the fishing was amazing. We had 60 plus walleye, 22 perch and a small pike.
I was able to finally catch a keeper eye, 18 1/4 which was delicious along with so perch for Sunday’s fish fry.
The morning bite was steady especially from 7:30 -9. After that they were sporadic until 4ish.
The evening bite was amazing lasting till 9 pm.
There was many 16- 17 walleye that seemed thicker then the past years.
The chartreuse buckshot rattle spoon and the silver and blue Mr Champ were the run away favourite lure.
The boys from Five Star out did themselves, Nick, Nekko and AJ set the bar high. I’d go again this very second if I could.
The beers where good, food was great, company awesome and the fishing fantastic.

Cheers
Kerry

Looks like you had a stellar trip Chevy and judging by your eyeballs, there were no

shortages of medicinal beverages

Very happy that you had a great time and I hear you about going back. I got some upcoming surgery this Monday and if all goes well and I recover quick enough

I AM going back
