Ice Bungalows January 31st weekend report

Late arriving on Thursday night with 5 guys in the super bungalows, caught a couple while unpacking and having a few drinks between 12.30 am and 3.00 am. back at it again after about 3 hours sleep. set up a few old style tip ups out in front of the huts as they never let us down. fished all weekend in the huts as we like the comfort and are lazy. we were mostly using jigs, buck shots or single hooks tipped with minnows or minnow heads. caught a couple on the outside tip ups including a good sized pike with a rod, reel and a rusty glow stick still hooked to it .would be interesting to know how long that fish had been dragging that set up around the lake. weekend total 18 in the hut an 2 outside, bite times were all over the place. no keepers all around 17 inches. not too bad for lazy drinking bunch. and not to forget the pike that brought us an extra combo . would like to thank Dennis and all the staff at Ice Bungalows for the great service as usual making it a great weekend.
