World Record Trout Group: Members Posts: 5030 Member No.: 877 Joined: November 06, 2011	was on Joe yesterday. Conditions were prime---just enough snow for grip. Pulling the tobog was super easy. Unfortunately the fisshing was sub-prime even though we were not skunked.

World Record Trout Group: Members Posts: 5463 Member No.: 50 Joined: February 10, 2011	Where I fished this past Thursday on a lake in Muskoka area, there was literally no snow on ice. And as you mentioned, it was super easy to walk and pull whatever you have on ice, with just a thin layer of hard snow to make it not too slippery. PS: I am out heading back to that lake NOW:-)
