was on Joe yesterday. Conditions were prime---just enough snow for grip. Pulling the tobog was super easy. Unfortunately the fisshing was sub-prime even though we were not skunked.

Where I fished this past Thursday on a lake in Muskoka area, there was literally no snow on ice. And as you mentioned, it was super easy to walk and pull whatever you have on ice, with just a thin layer of hard snow to make it not too slippery.

PS: I am out heading back to that lake NOW:-)
