Bait fish restriction, Salties?

Alevin Group: Newbies Posts: 19 Member No.: 13888 Joined: March 09, 2017	I'm headed out to a back lake later this week and noticed that there is a baitfish restriction (close to Algonquin park). Are salties or frozen pinheads OK?

World Record Trout Group: Members Posts: 2475 Member No.: 8190 Joined: January 11, 2015	"Live fish may not be used as bait or possessed for use as bait" I'm guessing that's the regulation you're referring to. Exactly as it says...keyword, 'live'. Salties and frozen pinheads are not live.

World Record Trout Group: Members Posts: 1322 Member No.: 13075 Joined: January 11, 2017	Those lakes always do well with worms... tip your spoon or 1/8th oz jighead with some worm. And have a set line with a worm and a sinker. I have limited luck with dead minnows personally, but i could see them working if the fish are in the right mood. If you are after specks Id say worms for sure.
