Took the kid out early this morning for a few hours to find some smallies, and we got a bunch off the usual shoals, rock piles etc. Also tried a few new areas, including one wreck that’s in about 15’ of water. Got the biggest one of the day off the old 100+ year old hull. The kid thought it was pretty cool to catch fish off a real shipwreck

I dropped the kid off on a shoal at the end of the day for a swim, and proceeded to drop shot up about 20 more smallies all around him as he swam and snorkelled. He even got to watch a few bass hit my bait, and saw several others chasing my hooked fish around.
