Canal and Dalrymple Lake

Hey everyone,

I've been looking to get out for some shore fishing on these 2 lakes. But im 1.5hours away from them so can't do much scouting. Do these lakes still have ice? Or will they be ok to shore fish on?

Everything looks frozen to me.

Long way to drive for panfish....nothing is open to fish for.

Panfish and Pike are open year round in 17

I drove by Mitchel a couple of days ago, the water level is still way down. I doubt that you can do any shore fishing and with this warm weather and rain I wouldn't trust the ice.

Just drove past Mitchell open water at the ramp as well as the canal an around the islands rest is still ice covered.

Canal was hard to see for fog so I can’t say.
