Definitely was a much needed fishing day with Mr.Longshank. We started the day off getting many things ready and tested before actually fishing everything seemed like it went smoothly and was working well. The boat was lifted up and ready to go in on schedule and with one turn of key we were off for a great day of fishing. The fishing was great and the weather just perfect. Mr.Longday had 5 fish landed before I got a chance man we missed a lot of fish but I think after being out of the game for 3 months we did excellent. Spoons spoons and more spoons we’re working every time Werner changed his spoon on the dipsy rod he almost instantly got a hit. Not sure which colour try them all (longshank has I’m guessing 3thousand). Almost forgot how hard these spring Lake Ontario fish fight what a blast. Tight lines !!!!!

Thanks Steve for all the help as I could not have been ready to go in otherwise
boat in at around 10.30 am, then over to dock and tie her up and run several tests...all good , so out we go and lines in around noonish
lots of boats out there
took a while to find them, but once we did it was a hit and miss bite......think we are rusty with lack of fishing. but it did not matter as it was a stellar weather day and just great to fish again. we took the precautions and had a blast with over 16 hookups of all sizes up to 17 pounds
they sure were picky with colors today
got 1 sweet fire red coho to keep for dinner and all others released
fished till 7 pm and called it.....man is my body sore now, but no complaints

Werner thats gotta feel like the very best fishing ever for you, considering it took you twice as long to get out this year. By the look of those pictures, your face needs a good healthy chunk of struddle and soon. The Mrs. is not feeding you like mine. She's got me fattened me up for the market over this lock down, bake down thing. Looking forward to reading about your upcoming adventures.
