Fished a little bit off the dock this weekend, had one bass. We've been going up for the last 5 years there, and the fishing seems to die in the summer. Spring is great though. We did make a discovery though a couple weekends ago, we thought all the carp went belly up a few years back, however we found a few splashing around in the shallows

Usually we can nail at a least a couple pike from the dock.....it was a little windy this weekend and we didn't feel like going with the boat to the island.

I have fished it many times in the past, not this season.

At the most SOUTHERLY end, (upper dalrymple) we would thow hulla poppers and nail some nice large mouth.

There is a nice hole on the east bank that we have pulled walleye and the odd musky out of.

On the north side of the channel we have trolled for pike and done well.

This is a lake with thick walls of weeds but i have seen some nice fish pulled out.

Many years ago i lost a HUGE pike at the boat.

I have been fishing dalrymple for the past 8 years and it was good all year round, as we always stay at lazzy acaers. Ever since the lake has been open for winter ice fishing, the lake is gone dow n hill from then.
