Try using the search function and you might find some info from previous years. I typed in opener and found a couple posts with some info in them. The lake has warmed up with the hot weather we had so the fish could be a little deeper than normal. The weather buoy is showing that it is 12 degrees currently.

Not sure which Bay you are talking about but make sure you read the regulations including the exceptions as there in an area in Callander Bay which is a fish sanctuary with no fishing allowed from March 16th through May 31st. This link shows a map but googling Burford point it shows as being the point just south of what is shown. https://www.lakesimcoeoutdoors.com/forums/i...5&hl=wasi+falls

Yes, I was meaning Callendar Bay. I am aware of the sanctuary, apparently there is a sign to the south of the river moth along the shoreline and the line is drawn from there to Burford point.
