After what seemed like a bit of a lull in action Last week, the walleye bite has really turned on. Went out last evening after the rain stopped with wifey and the action was phenomenal. In less than 2 1/2 hours we got 52 walleye, 2 sheepshead, a small-mouth and a perch. That included 2 keepers (19 & 21 inches). Evening ended with a beautiful sunset. Fished the drop off of a shoal in 8-14 FOW.

Today I went out again for about an hour in the afternoon and got these two 21 inch beauties.
Gotta love it!

And the good fortune continued today. Although we didn’t get the numbers we had a couple nights ago, we certainly made up for it in size. Wifey got this wonderful afternoon delight (no not that kind), but maybe just as good. She got this 24 1/2 incher, photo’d then released. She also got another 19 inch keeper and another 20 or so smaller ones.

If a moderator could fix the photo it would be appreciated.

We're not hurting by any means Zzz.
The bite's been absolutely insane for a while...and there's plenty of big fish in the mix.
Can't get one off my wifes stick and released...before she grabs mine and has another one. She's murdering me.
20 fish in an hour between the 2 of us is pretty standard right now.

I think I figured out how they always do it. They keep us busy rigging their lines, baiting their hooks and netting their fish. All these distractions keep us busy while they are pulling in the fish!
