Wife and i found ourselves in a lesser traveled part of AP last weekend. Lots of adventure and even a little luck We battled the heat and the bugs but we wouldn't have changed a thing, cheers to making lasting memories and better times ahead for all.

Look at the tail on that laker! Looks like an old fish with no food to grow! Is there a healthy population in that lake, or do you know? Nice swamp donkey

Looking at the pic now it does appear to have a really big tail, I didn’t notice the size when filleting. Not sure about the population health, I was marking quite a few in 50 FOW and over. That said I’ve caught many bass I. The 5-6 lb class, I can only assume that got that big by eating trout.
