Dog,

I was behind Huycke Island @ the 40 ft mark. Yes , first time fishing there . I have

not had a chance to target them yet or that weekend. I was up this weekend and

we did well with 5 for the fryer . We caught them in the middle of the night .

Excellent fishing threw out the night . I felt like I was smelt fishing

Other than that I never really had a chance to target them every weekend.

Gf been having a blast with the bass and pike . A lot more pike are being caught !

The fishing has slowed down compared to the early season for the eyes . Hopefully

soon enough the cooler weather should move in for the fishing to pick up again .

Try the evening / Night fish if you get a chance !
