Iv never caught a catfish and just wondering if anyone could give me any tips on where to start looking Around Lindsay preferably Don't want your exact spots just wanted to know if there is anywhere around worth trying Thanks in advance

While I never caught one there, I remember an identification sign at Emily Prov. Park that showed channel cats, so I guess they're in the Pigeon River. Your best chance is to to go south to the Grand River or Welland Canals if you want anything of decent size.

Hit anywhere along the trent Severn water way in the evening. Chicken liver, cut bait or good old fashioned worms will do the trick. 3/4 oz jig head or you can use an egg sinker with a split shot about 18 inches up.

I got a 5lber today trolling for walleye with a worm harness. Man they are a lot of fun to catch, great fight. Todays cat went back, I got a big one last week and brought it home for the smoker. Good luck they are worth chasing.
