Heading up to Rice with the family end of Aug for a week. Looking for some info on lures to use. My normal goto are wacky worm, swim jigs, chatterbaits and spinner baits.

Have been thinking to get a few punching jigs as i know the lake is very weedy.

If anyone can pass me some info on lure choice and colors other than my normal ones i use it would be apprenticed.

Thanks,

I rented s cottage out there years ago. The only i caught them there was pounding a heavy jig and minnow or bucktail through the thick weeds. Color didn't matter too much, but black is always my go to.
