I’ve seen them lots of times on the outside of the hull but usually further up towards the very front of the bow. I guess the numbers might have made them decide to put it where they did. Still should have been a conversation first for sure. Good luck.

Did not see it till I got home or the boat would still be there this is the part they were supposed to replace the dealer said to me he had the hole light/ horn to replace as they were one unit. Also had my turbo swing installed never thought to look for a speaker on the front of my boat lol was beat when I picked it up and was all warranty work so I owed no money just hooked up and left noticed when I got home. No one would answer the phone yesterday

Oh my. So they cut a hole in the side of the boat, put speaker in and screwed on a grill. Don't know about you but wouldn't water be that high in waves. How is speaker going to work when wet and under water.
I like the idea of calling the manufacture and hear what they have to say. I have never seen a horn mounted through a hull on any size boat.

What in the f!ck is that? That is totally unacceptable imo. and even if it is i would not accept it. Looks completely out of place. They put it there bc of the boats registration #s.

That’s absolutely crazy! I suggest you need to speak to a senior authority at that facility about it and demand its removal and reinstallation at a different spot .

Wow, please post the rational of why they did that after you talk to them. I'm sure the dealer will have a book of excuses why. Don't buy any of them, if that was my Lund I don't think my feet would be on ground yet.
