Lawrence Park Little Lake

Has anyone been there fishing?
If so, how was it?
What kind of fishes are most common?

From what I hear, there are no shoreline fishing but from a boat.

If you have a small boat like a kayak or canoe you can get in there. There are some smaller pike in that lake as well as a few good sized bass. This year a saw quite a few Blue Gill and some nice sized carp as well.

I fish from a kayak and launch at the bottom of Duckworth Street. I then park on the raod and walk back down to the "Launch"

There are boat rentals there as well at Laurence Park I think.

This is a shallow lake and it warms up really fast.

Nice catch on the Bass.

Yeah, I heard the lake is small, shallow and LOTS of weeds.
Not much of bites,except for bass, crappies and maybe some pikes.

Unfortunately, I have neither kayak or a boat to use. Don't think its worth the $80 a day boat rental at Lawrence Park.
