Knew it was a big smallie or a ski when it hit...glad he didn't bite me off and I was able to get him back swimming quickly...and no I didn't consider this a guy a pest! Was some excitement on an otherwise rather slow day.

Nice fish, can I ask what you were using?
Just so I can spend more money buying even more gear for my trip in two weeks and on the day things aren't going right I can say yo this guy was fishing bass and said to try this for musky so I got 2 3 4 5 of them

1/2 ounce Chatterbait. I always have one of these tied on. I use a 4" creature or crayfish imitation for a trailer. I generally go with brownish colours, but I really should try blue/black when brownish isn't working. Fish it deep or shallow, retrieve like a crankbait or drag it across the bottom. Very versatile.
You can also put a 4" swimbait on it for a trailer. Really changes the look of it.
