FINALLY got out on the trout grounds

Parr Trout Group: Members Posts: 52 Member No.: 13816 Joined: February 26, 2017	It's been a while since I was able to get out and target some cold water species, but I was able to sneak away for a few hours last weekend. Fish were all over the place (between 40-80 FOW) and seemed to be really active. lots of interest and chases on the vibrato (14g natural shiner) but only managed to nail 1 laker. I have a new 14ft fiberglass boat that I got for the cottage, so it was nice to get the first catch in her! Also took my puppy Chester out for his first lake trout excursion.
