My buddy who is relatively new to fishing keeps bugging me that he wants to eat a salmon out of the river to try it. I wouldn't dare eat one of those zombie fish, however he is persistent LOL... what should I tell him?

Don’t tell him anything. Let him eat one it won’t kill him. Then let him eat a fresh Chrome one some time. See what he thinks.

beggars can't be choosey. Let him enjoy the fish. Problem comes if he ever gets a taste of silver fish.

They're not bad if you smoke them, but otherwise more fun just to catch
