Careless use of a firearm would be the easiest charge to lay as there is no treaty for that. And since it was posted video they still could.

When I owned a franchise I would only remove the tax for a person with a status card when they told me they were native. Couldnt the MNR check that??

Could even potentially use Bylaws if he is in a municipality - most have bylaws against firing a firearm within city limits. My town considers a bow to be a firearm for bylaw purposes. At least he would get a big fine, status or not.

I didn't say a bow was a firearm. I said my town considers a bow to be the same as firing a firearm for the purposes of bylaw enforcement. If Port Hope has a similar bylaw, this person could be fined, regardless of status.
