Hi everyone, looking for option on a long distance trip north for my dad and myself. My dad is getting up there and I imagine this will be a last ice fishing trip this far away. Willing to travel up 8 hours from Kawartha Lakes and willing to stay about 4 days. Will need a place to stay and possibly a guide or cabin on a lake we can walk on. I have all the gear but no Machines. Any ideas or starting points? Thanks

I do an annual trip to temagami. Always a good time. Operators generally put you on a laker spot with a walleye shoal within a short walking distance. The operator brings you out there in a sled caboose. Fishing is hit and miss, but I have had some real good outings. Can't Remember the last one I used, called blue something I think. But I've used a few and they generally have the same cabins, check ups, etc. Its an about 6-7 hour drive.
