Winter is coming... I’m in the market for a floating jacket and bib. I found a set of Arctic armor at Canadian Tire. It seems light, comfortable and roomy. And most of the videos show that It does float. I was wondering if anyone has this set and what they think of it. Or perhaps other suits they recommend and where to buy them. As it is getting harder to find floating suits in Canada (southern Ontario). Thanks

I have 2 sets of Arctic Armour and love them as they are light and warm enough
As for flotation, I have not had to experience going through ice to find out.. they dont have the same float capacity of other suits , but they do float

I have a set of Artic armor, jacket and bibs. They are very warm its' all I wear ice fishing now. I also have the camo jacket for duck hunting, again very warm and rain proof. Only problem with the camo is it turns an orangish colour so I cover it with a gilly top. Like LS, can't comment on hope well it floats. I also have the mitts and gloves and they are really warm as well. I got the full suit from Artic Armor's website and the jacket from local bow shop.
What I really like about the suit is it is easy to move around in.
I have a similar Mustang suit - not sure if it is the exact same model or not. Works well but in really cold weather it is pretty stiff and will impede your movement ability. I use it if things are sketchy but once set up somewhere i know is safe i often remove it and put on a normal winter jacket.
