World Record Trout Group: Members Posts: 1464 Member No.: 939 Joined: December 05, 2011	Well it was nice to get back to my home river after fishing in Meaford a few times. After hooking into my first fish I called out to my friends "I'm home boys"lol. I got another reason to appreciate the beauty and majesty of rainbow trout later that day. I truly hold these fish in high regard and landing one of these beauties is so rewarding. Especially when you're freezing your buns off and humping up and down the river and slippery banks. I've never seen this colour in a rainbow. The blue really stood out and my friend could see it from 10-15' away. Just a beautiful fish. Not sure if it was just a lighting thing or a mutation but damn it was a beautiful fish. Check it out.

I catch a few a year that are blue back and usually figure that fish left deep water and ran without staging. Just a guess on my part though. Beauty.
