I went out on Sunday. I walked out to where the huts were (just over 1 km or so). I set up away from everyone else, and had pretty good luck. If you are a young'un, this would be a piece of cake. Might be different now with some snow. I'm going again this weekend. Best of luck to anyone who goes. Casey's has really good minnows, the fish seem to like them too.

I'm not sure if they do a taxi service some opporators do. A Small fee for a drop off and pre aranged pick up could be worth looking into. I'm not that old but I have never have regrets paying a ice taxi fee. Having more steam to explore can be a huge bonus! Or ... set up and enjoy

Caseys does a taxi service. Reasonable rates, but I prefer the walk. They offered to assist me last year when the walk was brutal. I'm just too stubborn.
