Sorry to hear of your cell phone life to the Lady Simcoe waters. I too have lost a cell phone to her as well. I swear the fish were watching it, as I was watching a you tube video and then I had a huge bite on my line, lost comtrol of my phone, then it fluttered down to the bottom. . I always wondered if anyone dropped their cell phone on Rice Lake and had success retrieving it and worked as soon as it came out of the water. Hence the name of course 😂😂

I had one of these pouches but found it to be difficult to use especially when trying a call.

Decided to pickup one of these, not water prof but keeps the phone from sinking and much easer to use. Most new phones have some sort of waterproofing to a certain depth.

Hey don’t know if this would help, but I dropped an iPhone into Cooch a few years ago and same thing like you I was able to fish it out after about an hour. Phone was dead. Then about a week later my buddies were over and one said to try plugging it in, low and behold it worked. I had already bought a new phone so I gave it away. All it needed was a new microphone I think and it was good to go. So even if you grab a new phone maybe try it in a week to see if you hat get some of your stuff back?
