Wow guys, just experienced the most incredible day of ice fishing I’ve ever had, 12 pike through the ice all on dead sticked rods! Unbelievable. I really hope you guys enjoy this video. Thanks

Good for you guys...looks like an exciting day out there! Wondering if there's a reason why you are hand lining all the fish in, making a big bunched up mess of your line, when it's on a jigging rod and reel? seems counter-intuitive to me

Good job on those fish and looks like you guys had a lot of fun bringing them in. Why didn't you just reel them in instead of bringing them in hand over hand?

Thanks guys! But I don’t have good equipment, reels were just there to hold line lol. Trying to reel the fish in with them would not have ended well, not in the video but lost the first 2 fish messing around with the reels, so just hand lined, Getting better reels this weekend 😂

When you have some extra cash, check out the ugly stick ice combos. Their medium rod is amazing, I can feel really light bites from perch and crappie, but so far it's also brought in a 32-inch pike no problem. Pretty cheap but still great quality. Cool video, (handlining still gets er done, but for the price, I couldn't recommend those enough)

Great job budz.....looked like a great day. Amazon has decent inline reels for 35-50 bucks....and I like them for dead sticks. Yiu can set the drag really light, and they just peel it off....then yiu can hold the reel with your palm and set the hook. Thiught I'd throw that out there. That kid was stoked for the pike...great job.
