If you do a search on this site I don’t think you will find one negative review.
x2
Never used one, but if I were to ever use a hut operator one it would definitely be Casey's. I have met both Taj and Surinder, both are excellent people and run a very tight operation.

Great operation. Been with him 4 times this season already. Great guy. Huts are ok. There are nicer huts on the lake (and huts that are way worse too), but his are sound and warm. He starts real early (6am) which I like. Most important Taj is a great guy who wants you to have a good time.
Fishing wise - about 2 weeks ago I crushed it there. Last week (Wed and Friday) I caught 2 fish total. Yesterday was a good solid day of fishing. Not the greatest but a good day. Took home a dozen and probably caught 30+

I was out with them last weekend which was very slow. Seen one huge pike around noon hour, but that was it that l saw with no Perch around. They said it’s been slow for the past few days. There’s day your smashing all kind for your limits, and there’s days you get skunked. That’s fishing for you.

I have never not had a great time when fishing with Taj at Caseys......there have been outings when the fishing was just great and some outings when they were quite finicky
I think that applies to the other good operators on Simcoe as well
what I enjoy the most is that everything is right there

wondering what restrictions your talking about....where you coming from ?
he's probably not from the Simcoe district and staying at home and doing the responsible thing like most of us.
I don't feel it's irresponsible for people to fish Simcoe if they're not from an immediate adjoining area if that's their only fishing resource. Every other year I try and encourage people to fish more or begin fishing as a great new hobby....this year more than ever......people getting outside and breathing fresh air more often, partake in mental and physical exercise while easily practicing physical distancing is all good to me and it's not my lake for me to say stay away if it's your only place to go fish.....
I've no way of backing this up but I would think if the question was asked " what would be the largest group of people from all different areas that would have the least effect on the spreading of this "thing"....? I bet it would be ice -fisher-people... That's just me

My experience with fishing is that if the pike are around then the perch go into hiding. They make an easy meal for the pike if they are in the same area. Hense the reason for slow fishing.
