Ha ha I don't think I would do that walk again in the deep snow pulling the smitty, it was brutal..
I watched the forecast for Friday and seen there might be a little snow, it's what they got the couple days before Friday that I should have been watching..
How did your nephew make out F4D??

Good on you to still go out fishing despite all the issues and braving the walk in the deep snow

Yeah, the smaller lakes can get a brutal snow cover so pulling the sledge there is a nasty chore.

I am always amazed how many decent people around helping each other outdoors, so kudos to the gentleman who gave you a ride back

Definitely a good man for sure..
Just makes me want a skidoo so much more but no place to keep it here and really hate paying to store it at another place although my wife is the senior manger st serves storage facilities LOL..it's the hassle of having to go get it and bring it back, it's nice just to hook it up and go from your own place..
The wife and are are going out on Friday and hopefully have some better luck.

Yeah, I hear you re transportation on ice.
Same here: would love to buy a skidoo or an ATV but have no place to store them or a trailer. I have to be thankful that I have a garage space for my boat

For now I've just ordered a deer pulling harness to use for helping me towing my sled. I am teasing my buddy who also hunts that I can loan it to him ....
