I was thing of heading to the Kingston area for walleyes. Season is ending March 1 there. Has anyone be there the last time I visited was the Long Reach area. Or is there safe places to go.

I guess nobody on this site has been to BOQ. Heading up tomorrow morning hopefully I do well. Local bait shop says thers 7-8 inches of ice in Long Reach area. Ill Post my success fingers crossed.

I fished long reach last weekend. Had about 5 inches where I fished and I walked nearly half way across. Still be careful, I drilled some holes in another spot and had 3 inches. The current does crazy things to the ice there. I got skunked, had marks almost every 10 minutes during prime times. Some were probably perch, marked smaller, but had the odd big one come through. Tried nearly everything in my tackle box, couldn't get one to commit. Didn't see anyone else catch anything either. Good luck out there.
