Dakota lithium battery / Aqua-vu, How to charge?

Lithium battery's keep peak voltage until almost depleted and then fall of sharply where the older batteries gradually get lower and lower as they run down, that would cause your battery meter to think you have three bars most of the day. Push it long enough and you will find out when it starts to die it goes from three bars to none very very fast when it gets there.

I changed my battery in my 715c to the Dakota lithium, I just use the plug in front that I normally used to charge...now according to Aquavu themselves, that’ll work just fine, however it might/will take a little longer to charge the lithium battery. Also, I noticed now that my battery power indicator is always on 3 bars now, even after using it all day.


Do you have any problems with charging your lithium battery by using the charing port on the camera?

I charge my Lithium batteries with a Noco charger that has a lead acid, Gel, Lithium and a repair mode.

Which size did you go with I have a feeling my original sla battery is no longer optimal
