How far do you put camera from your fishing hole when fishing for white fish? I tried last weekend by putting the camera diagonal corner of my fishing hole in my hut roughly 7 feet. Found it made them super spooky. Opinion needed...thanks Kevin G

I never leave it down ....I have a look ...make sure i dont have a rock pile obstructing me and if its sand I smash it off the bottom a ton to stir it up then its pulled up and I use my graph.

I used my camera this past weekend. Was in 40FOW, tons of perch and none seemed to get spooked even with the LED lights on. Some came right up to the lens to investigate.
Last season, I had it down in deeper water (80+) while fishing for WF, all I saw were tons of Zebra Mussels.
I usually drill an additional hole in my hut. If clarity is good, then I'll hang it facing downwards, 10-15 feet off bottom
