I know it a crappy picture, but it's the best I could get. The pair had little ones last year and have returned. Going to try and get my boy to come to town with his camera to get a real picture.

Not sure, but I’m guessing a Great Horned Owl possibly?
I think they should be nesting about now in anticipation of owlets.

yup you are correct Chevy. They already tried laying eggs (2) but on ground. They had 2 young last year that made it so hopefully they figure it out. Although last year where they had the nest the young fell out early. Somebody built a stand with a laundry basket at to top of the tall trees and put them in it. The parents ended up rearing them in the basket.
