Nice photo. A friend of mine told us of his experience in the Temagami area about 40 yrs ago. Seems he ran into the similar situation, except he had a bull tag in his pocket. The trouble started when was sitting log doing his 'business' with his rifle about 8-10 ft away. Standing dead still was a big bull, it didn't move a muscle. He watched for 5 minutes, no movement. As soon as my buddy slid down the log toward his rifle very, very slowly, all he heard was crashing dead branches breaking....no more bull in sight. He laughed was laughing while recounting it, but I'm sure he was a bit p#####.

Nice looking bull. How nice of him to pose for a picture.
Its such a tight draw system for the near north areas. I'm not sure if I want to bother with moose in this province. It seems like its for the wealthy sportsman not the modest Joe who gets by.
Call me cheap, but maybe im missing hunting somewhere else. I hope to find my somewhere in Ontario.
