I have too much tackle, and I'm always buying more. With not a lot to do, and trying my best to avoid any sort of gardening crap, I made a bait board. I made it two sided, but I won't put all my soft baits on it, but I'm pretty happy with the result. I did help my wife build a new compost for the backyard as well, so I used some of the leftover pieces.

My main fish target is bass, but last year I focused on walleyes and pike. Most of my plastics are bass focused ie crayfish shaped. I found a deal on some baits and scooped up a bunch. My biggest problem as once I decided what I want to target, I can never remember where I put the plastics (too many hiding spots). That's one problem solved. Next problem, find the fish. Now its just fun.

That’s cool . I also target mainly pike , walleye and bass with occasional trips for musky and panfish (also casting for fall salmon in September)
I spent last 3 seasons devoted almost entirely to pike and it was great learning experience with significant boost in my catch rates .
This year I am planning to devote my time on the water mainly to walleye with periodic bass trips and leave the pike alone for the time being .

I picked up the peg board at Home Depot for less than $10 a piece. It comes in already cut sizes, and this one was perfect (about 3' x 4". Simply added a frame, some pegs, and good to go.
My next project will be some way to store my hard baits, but only my "extra" ones. I have a bunch of 3700 series boxes, but you have to go through each one to figure out which lures you want to use. I also have to consolidate my tackle bags and boxes. Overflow only, as I also have a summer bag (4 boxes), spares (5 boxes), car box (2 tray), and stacked trays (maybe 10?). And this is only my soft water gear. I try not to look at my hard water stuff until the boat gets put away in the fall.
