not sure, just watch news today and doctors across Canada sign a letter to federal government to tight restrictions even more because they afraid of 4 covid wave, so as today we are in unknown waters and hope that we were able to enjoy what we like

No government body has listened to health officials.

Health officials have stated directly over and over that Covid is spreading in work places and essential work places faster than anywhere else.
Health officials have stated outdoor activities are the lowest risk.

Yet each time close down parks and outdoor amenities???

Let’s hope our provincial government will finally listen to health officials and keep outdoor activities open.

I applaud Brampton and the latter Peel areas for its stance on businesses that have more than 5 cases. They close them down for 10 days. I work directly in the supply chain and see every day businesses that don’t follow protocol for masks or sanitizers. I know of groceries stores that have had cases and not reported them so they don’t have to close.

I think it's only recently that the Science Table have voiced their disagreements publicly and stated what their recommendations were and are.

I was really irked that the closed the trails in the PPs last March but attributed that dumb decision to the fact that everything was done in a hurry. We have a PP in the middle of town here in Wasaga. That excuse no longer holds water. The trails are open this time around but some of the restrictions on outdoor activity are a bit much!

On another note---there was an anti-mask loonie gathering in C'wood on Sat. If those folks are not hit with heavy fines then the gov't is not taking this seriously.

Amen, starting to happen in a lot of places, unfortunately if any of those idiots catch the bug, they'll be lining up at the hospital door crying the blues. A week ago it was that no mind Max Bernier came to Barrie to do that, why didn't the cops bone him.

I think the Premier knows he screwed up by banning 'non-team outdoor activities'. He is more worried about the bad optics "politically" if he opens up fishing/golfing now.

We can only hope by May 20th, when the current 'stay at home' order is lifted, he will make the right move to allow outdoor non-team activities.

The Barrie cops throw people to the ground and zap them for lesser offences!!

I don't see them opening by then, it's a fun activity so it won't be allowed. Sad to say!
Issue is the weak towns mayors listen and close ramps for no viable reason. .

If you live on the lake and have a dock can you go out in your boat? I know you can't use the launches and you can't leave a marina but I don't see anything on using your own personal access.
