Great fishing last couple weeks, it’s finally tapered off in my area, for now...
about three weeks ago I got out for a few solo trips in the boat, and damn were they ever fierce....the first day out managed 12 lost over 20.... in the span of about an hour and a half in the middle of day.... with some vicious wind. I probably shouldn’t have been out in that by myself... it was worth it. The fish were deep, much deeper than anticipated. Anchored with a cinder block in 55-60fow on top of a school.... don’t ask how but I nailed the anchor set first try! (If you’ve ever tried to anchor on top of a small school of fish in 45km winds, alone, then you know) The rest is history lol. At this time of year, the windier the better. 5ft light action Clarus with 4lb line, holy moly that’s fun. Chomping bugs now. I refuse to elaborate.

I'm impressed by your post... as always it seems! I wish I had my fishing dialed in like you have.

Nice pile of whities there, it’s not often a guy needs to sharpen his fillet knife half way through the job 👍
