Buddy and I got out to a little lake north of Sudbury for some lakers . Got 4 around 21 to 24 inches (no size limit on this lake). Got them all on spinners tipped with minnow flatlinning in about 18 feet of water.

Great grandson approved!!!

So when do you teach the little one how to catch nice fish like that. My parents took my sister and I fishing in 1968 for the first time. She was 6 and I was 4 years old.

Spinners with a minnow, almost never fail. Enjoy your grandson approved fish

I have 18 grandchildren and 1 great grandson of all ages from 23 yrs to 1 month old . I love to take them out fishing or hunting in the fall .
Watched my 35 year old son bring up a 6lb laker through the ice by himself when he was 6yrs old

I am hoping to take a couple of grandkids fishing again this summer. The last time we were out we had a blast catching lots of 'bait sized' fish!
