Hi everyone, I've been lurker for a while reading up on all the action. I'm on Sturgeon and managed to get out on the ice a lot this past winter. Looking to get out as much as I can this summer.

My friend has been trolling Sturgeon, the 14 to 18 foot lanes on the chart and has been doing quite well. Most of the walleye have been too big or too small but at least he is catching fish and keeping two in a four day week. You can almost see the smile on his face through the text message. I did tell him if he is trolling to try the 6 to 10 foot lanes. But he only fishes until just before dark. He goes in just as the good fishing starts. I am not there right now for a while. He said bring your bug spray, many many bugs. His boat speed is turtle slow troll. LOL
