Hey everyone! I've been making a lot of shore lunches this season and am looking for new recipes to try out. Let me know some of your favourites Below!

I went out and made my best McDonalds "fillet-o-fish" with a fresh whittie last weekend and it turned out pretty great!

you can check that out here ---> https://youtu.be/G1vf5XZBOXg

Also caught another hog trout, all in all it was a pretty awesome day Looking forward to hearing some of your shore lunch specials!

DOG OVERBOARD!!!!! Good video and nice fish. The way we cook fish may sound a bit boring, but it is almost always the only way we have ever done it. A flat stone tray with a bit of olive oil inside the BBQ. Flour salt and pepper and cooked until it is nice and brown. Fried potatoes with onions and mushrooms, and some sort of salad. Like I said might sound boring but we just like fish to taste like fish. We have tried a few different ways over the last 50 odd years but always go back to the favourite. When I was all alone way up north camping in the fall, I would find a flat rock in the lake. Then build a fire put the rock in the middle and that is how you cook breakfast ( bacon and eggs ) and dinner ( fish ) ....No lunch up there, too busy catching dinner. After three days when the eggs and bacon are gone it's just fish for breakfast and dinner. One time I went hungry on my last two days of a weeks camping, because the fish stopped biting. I did have some granola bars but was glad to get back to the car and drive to some food. Have not done that in a few years. I guess I am getting too old for those adventures.
